The Sweet Word
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.Jeremiah 15:16 When you know where your bread is buttered, it is a sign of you developing inner wisdom. It is a…

Truly Repentant
We acknowledge, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.Jeremiah 14:20 True repentance starts with acknowledging our sins. Balm in Gilead
Is there no medicine in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why doesn’t God do something? Why doesn’t he help?Jeremiah 8:22 (TLB) I have always read this scripture from King James Version (KJV) as a scripture to ask God for healing of our sick bodies. But today, reading it from The Living Bible (TLB), it…

One Command
But this one thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.Jeremiah 7:23 When King David sang that it is only one thing He desired,…

The Ancient Path
Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV) Don’t go out to the fields! Don’t travel the roads! For the enemy…
