My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations. Hosea 9:17
This is the lot of the proud that won’t listen to God.
Let us look at the example of the posts we have been putting out every day for you to read and get inspired to do right and walk in the fear of God. One consistent theme has been that you should accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, if you are yet to. Reasons why you should take that step have been adduced in every post we put out there. The question is: Have you?
When God gives you an instruction and you decide to pick and choose what suits you to obey, you are showing signs of pride. This very command and expectation of God is one among the many we have shared with you daily on this platform.
You have a right to choose. But choosing wrong also has its consequences. If you choose to walk with those without reverence for God, when you become a wanderer like them, why blame God?
Once again, we set before you a clear choice. I hope that you will choose life so that He can take you to where you ought to be.
Being in the marketplace tells you that you are in a war zone. No matter what you do in life, you need God by your side. However, He has made it clear that what separates you from Him is sin. He has also made it clear that only one solution to the sin problem that subsists with Him is your salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.
So, here again is my proposition to you: Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour and be saved. Live by His book, The Bible and become His. He will be your rock and defence in the marketplace daily. Your reverence for Him will open you up to unimaginable secrets that made those who have chosen to pitch their tent with Him.
I believe this is the core secret of Dr Cosmas Maduka. He knew God early and knew how to pitch his tent with Him through total submission and reverence for Him. He chose God over all else and God gave Him the secrets to be on top in the marketplace.
Jesus is Lord!
Thank God it is Friday.
May this day bring you the reward of wise steps taken in Him this week in Jesus name. Amen.
