Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. Ezekiel 47:1
Now, this passage had been used to describe the abundance of release of the Holy Ghost anointing in measures. Sincerely, maybe this is the best way that Ezekiel could describe this experience we now take for granted as real after Pentecost.
The water covered only the ankle length after the measure of the first thousand. By the second thousand, it covered the knee. By the third measurement, it was at the waist level. By the next measurement, it was a full river to swim in.
This shows us that as you yield yourself more to the Holy Ghost, you grow in His power and grace. But you need to measure your level of yieldedness and continue to crave more of Him through your thirst for Him (Isaiah 55:1). In that way, He manifests more of Himself to you.
I always tell people that the difference between us and the Benson Idahosa, EA Adeboye, David Oyedepo, Kathryn Kulhmann, etc. of this world is how yielded to the Holy Spirit to be used of Him they are. So, you can be the next big thing in the Kingdom of God.
But even if you don’t want the kind of challenges they need to face because of the level of the anointing they carry, you also need the Holy Spirit to live the victorious Christian life in your everyday existence. However, it starts with first accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour.
So, people, which will it be for you? I choose to walk in absolute yieldedness to the person of the Holy Ghost because I wish to be worthy of Him on the Last Day.
May this day bring you stories of success and dominion as He walks with you through every issue you need to tackle today by infusing you with divine wisdom in Jesus name.
