Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Ezekiel 39:28
God’s mercy knows no bounds.
Let’s read carefully this scriptural reference. It is clear that except God allows it, nothing can be done by the enemy against us. This was the case with Job. So, instead of fighting against God or getting afraid of the enemy, we should sit down with the word of God to do deep reflections.
Job held on to his integrity despite all he went through. When Israel came to his senses and sat down to read through the word of God, it found where it had gone wrong through the reading of the ancient scrolls and decided to repent.
When we get to this point, God stops the enemy from further damage and choose to ensure that we get restored.
This is why we must put our best foot forward by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour. This is the only way we can ensure that we are where we should be with God at any point in time.
As the month of September rounds off today, may the mercy of God not depart from you and your family. May His name uphold you and sustain you in righteousness. May He keep you focused on pleasing Him so that you can fulfil your destiny in Jesus name. Amen.
Jesus is Lord!
