The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying:
Ezekiel 25:1
Four kingdoms, four prophecies: all exuding God’s displeasure at them for rejoicing over Israel’s misfortune.
This tells us that it is dangerous to laugh at the misfortune of others, especially where God is teaching them a lesson. You know why? None of us is really free of God’s displeasure except where His mercy is still covering our shortcomings. So, it is better to be humble enough to pray for God’s mercy for them where we can or tell them about how to earn God’s forgiveness through their heartfelt repentance.
So, let’s show them that if they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour, they can obtain God’s mercy and be forgiven. That goes for you too if you are yet to take this step.
I wish you the best that today has to offer you as you work diligently and faithfully to please the living God in your marketplace today.
Jesus is Lord!
