And He said to me: “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give wicked counsel in this city.”
Ezekiel 11:2

The truth is that, as we would say in Ibadan, God knows the address of your house.

You may be doing wickedness, doing all sorts of things that in your sight are okay or that you thought no one would catch you, but the truth is that there is nothing we do in life that is hidden from God. God sees all. And that is why He could judge all with precision.

These men that were identified in verse 1 of this chapter clearly were no good. They were leaders but misled the people with their evil counsel. At the right time, God brought their judgement to their doorstep. One of them actually died after Ezekiel prophesied against them.

This tells us that leaders that mislead the government through their anti-people counsel will not go unpunished. They won’t escape God’s wrath when the time comes. Except they do one thing of course, repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.

This is a step you too should take today before you become their victim. Let’s be serious about safeguarding our future through the strategic move that brings us into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and grants us restoration from the unrighteousness that threatened to swallow us.

May His mercy find you and bring you to the feet of Jesus to obtain His forgiveness and cleansing as you submit to Him in Jesus name. Amen.
