The dread of millions across the globe for perceived ominous happenings

I refuse to believe that some unseen forces are behind what you portend

An era of unmitigated rush and reckless push to capture some fleeting fortunes

I refuse to yield to your pressure on me to fret and fear

A period believed to be characterised by negative omens

I refuse to join the multitudes that dread your appearance

Heralding the days of hustle and bustle; the hours of fight to finish

The era of traffic madness; more haste and less speed

When health facilities are overwhelmed and overstretched

I care not about what people think of you

As long as I’m connected with the Ruler of moments, days and months.
