Many people would be doing things they hoped that nobody sees them doing. They commit all sorts of abominations and come out into the public with innocent faces and people applaud their piety. It is all a lie and a mirage.

At least, now God is exposing the cinematic evidence of the guilt of Israel to Ezekiel. The greatest self-deception is to live in the public eye like the innocent while in the private life, one lives like the agent of the devil. It is called hypocrisy.

If people wondered about God’s anger against Judah at the time, it was documented. Thus, God showed all of it in graphic relief to Ezekiel. Guilt is proven by evidence, as the lawyers argue. God gave the evidence of the activities that fuelled His anger against Judah.

In the same way, in Nigeria today, evidence of all the bloodshed and corrupt practices are being recorded by God’s timeless cameras. No one else may see the secret things we do; God does. And considering that He is the One to ultimately judge our actions on earth, should we not tremble only at His words and do right always? We have the right to make these choices. So, which will we choose, right or wrong?

The wisest place to start is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour. He perfectly guides us by the Holy Spirit to choose right always.
