We read of the judgement of Israel; till they were brought to ruins due to their stubbornness and refusal to repent despite many warnings from God’s prophets.
Here, it is the turn of Moab.
Yesterday, Egypt got its own share.
However, a careful look at today’s highlighted scripture shows God’s unfailing compassion.
As He sent warnings and even sometimes actually executed judgements, He was always leaving us the leeway for repentance and restoration.
I sincerely hope that we learn to take this leeway and do right always. The first step to that righteous life is always that we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour. Let us do this right now. This is the only way of escape from God’s wrath and guaranteed protection.
Jesus is Lord!
