Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth, and I will pardon it.
Jeremiah 5:1
Many times we think of God as that big headmaster just out to flog our buttocks. However, the truth is that God Himself desires that we do good always so that He can pour into our lives His constant blessings.
He desires that we be blessed. Nonetheless, because He is a holy God, He will not lower His standards for anyone. What He demands of us is that we reach up to Him in sincerity to be helped to do good always. That is why He sent His only begotten Son to pay for our shortcomings. To get this though, we must plug into that sacrifice that He made to save us from the condemnation that sin brings.
Now that God has given you the leeway, will you take it? And after taking it, will you walk in it? That is why God said He seeks for one person that will do right. And that one person’s acts of righteousness is enough for Him to forgive the land of its backsliding.
Compared to the 10 people that God agreed with Abraham for whose sake to spare Sodom and Gomorrah, that number is very considerate of God. But He could not find that one person. Will you or I be that one person in our generation?

This is a call to self reflection and true repentance so that God can have the person on whose account to save our country in Jesus name.
If you comment ‘repentance’, I will be glad to guide you through this experience.
Jesus is Lord!
