As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and My words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of they seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever.
Isaiah 59:21
Indeed, this is the word of the Lord. His promises are yeah and amen.
He has given us the word; our duty is to proclaim it. And part of that duty is to teach our children to fear and honour God. This is the only way the word can be sustained. And this is the only way He can ensure that the Gospel continues beyond us. Sincerely, we cannot continue to sleep and think all things are okay when so much wickedness is taking over the world while we look on.
If we keep quiet and do not do our duties, one hopes our children don’t get consumed in the error of the world. However, when we continue to propagate the Truth that God has put in our mouths and ensure that we teach our children the same, as well as let them know that their children must learn the same, there will still be hope for the world. This is the only way to safeguard our future.
This is because if we don’t teach them at home, strangers will fill their hearts with strange things, which could lead to our crying. May the good Lord forbid that we fail God in this way.
And that comes back to you the moralist. Without the salvation in Jesus Christ, sustaining morality in the energy of the flesh can’t hold against the wickedness of the world. You need the help of the Holy Ghost to stand against the flood of wickedness currently drowning the world.
