There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

The heart is a place where our true nature is revealed. When it is found to be full of negativity, it becomes a worrisome state.
When many think of wickedness, their mind quickly goes to that witch in their neighbourhood. They however forget that being wicked is essentially about lacking the fear of God.
When you lack the fear of God in your heart, you do things that are not right or proper. That makes you a wicked person. Wickedness is also disregarding the feelings of others. This is also a measurement you cannot pretend about.
Obviously, the opposite of wickedness is righteousness. Righteousness thus include every act and thought that gives glory to God and advance the well being of others.
Looking at this makes me to wonder how those that kidnap others and steal away the life of others before their time sleep at night. When they close their eyes, can they really sleep in peace?
In the same vein, whether you are a preacher or a teacher, how you can tell lies through your teeth and daily deceive others through false information and expect to sleep peacefully at night is beyond me. For the so-called content creator, how you can use others’ sorrows and pain as a thing to parade to the world with the sole objective of advancing your selfish drive for gain because of going viral is one thing I continue to find difficult to understand.
The way Nigerians used the cashless situation in early 2023 to draw the blood of their fellow citizens is still beyond me. Any surprise that they continue to ‘elect’ those that whip them merciless with pain and sorrow? The politician that is only concerned about the next election rather than how to solve the challenges faced by those that ‘elected’ them into power smacks of a heart full of wickedness.
I guess by now, we should all agree that wickedness is in diverse dimensions. However, having peace is not for the wicked, no matter the dimension. Even money cannot buy it, no matter how rich you have become.
So, your best bet is to go after God and obtain righteousness. And that one is easy. Truly repent of your wickedness and ask Jesus Christ to become your Lord and personal Saviour. You will receive His mercy!

Jesus loves you enough to pay the price for your sins; don’t let that go to waste. There is no other way to be worthy to stand in the presence of God on the last day. That is the TRUTH.
