Being Worthy of His Holy Mountain

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isaiah 56:7

You know, it looks easy to just give up and say we are too dirty to be accepted of God when we have done many bad things in our lives. That makes sense when we have heard over and again that God’s eyes are too holy to behold iniquity.

However, this same God made the provision for our salvation. In the preceding verse to the above, He noted clearly the qualification for the lost to be accepted in His house. He stated that when you join yourself to the Lord, to serve Him and keep yourself from polluting His holy day but rather take hold of His covenant, He will give you a place in His holy mountain.

So, your keeping away could just be an excuse to continue indulging in waywardness. The Lord has opened His arms wide to accept you. The hymn writer wrote: ‘Just as I am without one plea’ other than the blood that Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary for our justification and cleansing. This tells you that attempts to make yourself clean will take you nowhere but accepting the finished work of your salvation and living to please Him afterwards is all you need to be worthy to stand in His house of prayers. Then will your offerings and sacrifices be acceptable at His altar.

He died and rose from the dead so that you can live worthy through His justification. Let not this sacrifice be in vain in relation to your life. Leave the chaos of the sinful world and come to Jesus to live for Him. The peace He gives is indescribable until you experience it.

Jesus loves you and wants you to obtain the right to call Him ‘Abba’, that is, Father.

Do it now and obtain peace that passes all understanding.

Comment ‘salvation’, and I will be glad to guide you through.

God bless your day!

Have a transformational Tuesday.
