Knowledge

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6

Knowledge. Hmm.

Beautiful scripture that we quote all the time. However, how many of us really think deeply beyond the first part of this scripture?

Once we support whatever we are talking about with how ignorance is destructive, we leave the matter there. However, the manifestation and consequences of that ignorance is not usually laid bare for people to see in order to understand the level of impact that ignorance bears on their life and destiny.

This scripture lays bare that when we refuse the knowledge of God, we are at the risk of being rejected by God. He also told them clearly that they won’t be His priests. He added that even their generations will suffer from their ignorance on how to please and obey God, which they exhibited in forgetting His laws.

So, the lack of knowledge goes beyond mere surface ignorance. It cuts deep into what brings fulfilment of destiny at different levels.

Ignorance on how to access His presence could make salvation a mere myth that could be clouded and seem unreal. That is why you would think you could only watch Him from afar and can never call Him Father, even though He has made that provision for you in Jesus Christ.

Lacking knowledge in how to please God makes being a Christian a task. This could be daunting and frustrating if you forget that His grace is sufficient for you.

Lacking knowledge about how God should be first in everything in your life will make it difficult to be His priest. Sincerely, what do you teach the people as a priest to the Most High if you too do not have a front row access to God?

Dr Olumide Emmanuel mentioned deep things yesterday when he was teaching at the Biblical Billionaires Conference 2026. Part of the codes he mentioned include the Knowledge Code. However, even that pales behind the Supernatural Code when he began to describe some of his experiences in the marketplace where the knowledge of the Supernatural Code bailed him out of some very tight corners.

So, being knowledgeable in your field is great. And that is where most of us use this scripture to taunt one another. However, the ignorance of the provision of the saving grace in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is the most risky one of all.

So, this morning, I offer you that knowledge free of charge. It marks the most important decision you could make. You ask: What should I do?

Simple: Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour today and you have cracked the knowledge code in that area. You are thereby positioned to take your place in the supernatural code as you grow in His grace and power.

Jesus is Lord!

As you go before His presence today, may His presence provide you with all you need to become and fulfil destiny in Jesus name. Just ensure that you plug in with all your heart.

Happy Sunday, folks.
