Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. Hosea 3:5

The best part of the love between God and His people is experiencing His forgiveness.
Hosea’s wife went to play the harlot yet again. Just like the way the Israelites did over and again. However, the Lord Himself went to seek them out, figuratively presented as Hosea going to recover his wife from the sin houses.
Israel was always seeking other gods so that he could be like the other kingdoms around him. He forgot that his uniqueness is the basis of his distinctiveness and uncommon prosperity in the face of adversity. Wanting to be like other kingdoms is bringing himself down. God showed him this many times.
Nonetheless, in His infinite mercy, He was the one to reach out to you and me to come into His fold and embrace of love. You ask, how?
By sending Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins. All He asks is that you receive that vicarious sacrifice on your behalf and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. With that, your life is set to receive His many blessings and protection.
Wishing you the best of this Saturday as you reflect on the week that is ending and see how much He has loved you even when you were ignorant of Him.
Jesus is Lord!
