You Have His Listening Ears

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3

It can be lonely if you have no one to talk to. It can also be heartbreaking if you need help but there is no one to help you.

However, God tells you here to call upon Him. In the same breath, He promised to answer you.

If we will trust and believe in the Lord, we will find that He has the best listening ears. I remember once when a young woman was having issues and endless arguments with her husband, I told her that she should always call me to vent instead of the constant arguments in her marriage. I promised to listen to her issues and then we can walk through them together rather than having the continuous shouting match with her husband. I have always said that issues are a matter of perspectives. When you are led to see basic facts by another eye, you will see where your fault is too rather than heaping all the blame on the other party. I am glad to say that today, they are able to talk things out between each other without the shouting match.

This is where God wants us to be. After all, He is the one that can fix all of our issues and guide us with the needed wisdom to access the needed solutions. He is also the one who can listen to our secrets and not judge us but instead show us with compassion where we missed it and how we can fix it.

Sincerely, we already have a Therapist in the Holy Ghost. Let’s take the burdens of our hearts to Him and He will show us how to get that situation under control.

The first step though is to become His by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. That way, He takes over your battles and becomes your rock and support.

Jesus is Lord!
