If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

This is a vow, a very strong vow at that. God said clearly that the only way Israel shall cease from being a nation is when the sun, moon, and stars no longer exist.

I wish more people would receive the mercy of salvation, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and read the scriptures properly with His help. That way, you would read it and understand exactly what God is saying. That way, those bent on exterminating Israel from the earth’s surface would understand that they are wasting their time: it will not happen. And this is not being political; it is taking God’s word literally, based on this strong covenant He made concerning that nation.

So, what implications does this have for you and me?

It means that: when God says if you repent of your sins, He will forgive you and remember them no more, take it literally like that. It means that: when you believe His word that He is the One who gives you power to get wealth, you will know that the wealth that lasts and comes with peace is available only with Him. It means that: with His stripes, you get healed of any kind of affliction — spiritual, physical, or even social.

Indeed, He is the God who keeps faith with those who walk in covenant with Him for generations. He fulfils His promises, no matter what, when your part is played.

So, your next step is: Accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour.

It is the sensible thing to do, seeing how committed He is to your getting a future that you deserve.
