Boasting in the Lord

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight saith the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:24

There is only one reason to boast: that you are saved and already working your way towards heaven.

Being surnamed with the name of Jesus Christ is a rare privilege. If you are able to get that, you will be humble and only have the understanding that the only thing there to boast about is the saving grace that the Lord Jesus Christ has granted you.

And understand this, boasting about knowing God also does not mean looking down on others. It simply means announcing to the world the privilege of your salvation. That takes a lot.

Ensure that you learn about Him more and more and let that knowledge colour your actions and reactions. Knowing the Lord Jesus Christ is meant to be for everyone but only few have had the privilege of that knowledge.

As we continue to pray for the salvation, let’s wear our Christian identity as a badge of honour. Sincerely, that helps many to have expectations of us, which also helps us to live up to and above that expectation within the confines of the scriptures.

I am not ashamed to let people see my professional profile and the first thing they see is ‘Christian’. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at all. It is power of God to save the lost. I want the lost to think of me first when they need help to learn about Jesus Christ, whether they be colleagues or adversaries.
