Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 54:1
Today is the Covenant Day of Fruitfulness in Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Many times, we think of fruitfulness only in relation to having children. Do you know that you can also be fruitful in the works of your hand as well as in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
At times, your mission may be to be a mother/father to someone who lacked parental love and guidance at the crucial points in their lives when they needed it. I know that God had personally helped me to mother people older than me because they needed the sort of compelling love my mother showed me as I grew up.
Don’t even get me started on my mother’s tyrannical love 🥰. I thought she was being too hard on me at the time. But you know what, it got me straight and disciplined all through my life. So, coming to Christ made it easier to walk that straight path.
What are we saying? It is that you may be the answer to someone’s prayers to enjoy familial love. Do not fail God by denying them.
As we go to church today, I pray that every womb crying for their own seed shall experience the mercy of God and carry their babies and bring them forth in nine months time. And if yours is that you need God’s enlargement in business, do not fear to expand. He will surely visit you with unusual fruitfulness in the work of your hand as you deal in your business with righteousness and integrity in Jesus name. And don’t forget that your business may also be your job. So, do it with integrity and faithfulness.
Whatever your hands find doing, do it in the fear of God.
Happy Sunday, family!
