Busy Doing God’s Will

Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Isaiah 48:17

Here the Lord says clearly that He is the one that leads us. And it is only by His leading that we can achieve profiting in our lives.
You should ponder and ask yourself: How much have I been yielding to the Spirit of the Living God compared to what I decided on my own? You see, it is not enough to be busy. You should be busy fulfilling God’s purpose in your life.
Two things happen when you fulfil purpose:
You have peace and profit from your efforts
You have impact on those whose destinies are tied to yours to bring them to where God wants them to be.
The question is: Can you afford to find out when you stand before God that you have been pursuing shadows when you are supposed to be living for God’s glory due to your thinking what the Lord asked you to do for His honour as your destiny call is beneath your desired ambitions?

It is one thing to be a hard worker but another one to be working hard in what God called you to do. As much as it is fun to be versatile, let it be in what God wants you to do at the centre of it all.

Pause your ‘busyness’ and ask God exactly what He wants from your life. That is the only reasonable thing to do right now.

However, if you are yet to yield your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you are still far away. Take that action first and then ask Him what He created you for. He will tell you. What is wrong is questioning God; asking God questions in sincerity of wanting to know gets you clear answers.

As you step into this new work week today, may you find answers to those questions you have been wondering about.

God bless your day!
