Sanctification is Profitable for All Things

It is a call to self-examination in the light of scriptures, Philippians 1:12

Sanctification opens our eyes to our weakness and  shortcomings. 

Sanctification is living right according to God’s word. 

Sanctification is profitable for all things means that the Holy Spirit will be in control of all that concerns us. When you are living according to God’s word is sanctification.

When you are living in sanctification, you become a touch not. 

Sanctification is a foundation that strengthens every aspect of our lives.

1 Timothy 4:2, sanctification is the greatest asset of a believer. Sanctification has to be worked out. You have to work it out on the basis of God’s word.

Quest for sanctification brings immediate reward and eternal one. Sanctification helps you to stay out of trouble. 

Sanctification is a must for every child of God. This is the only way to get heaven, Luke 22:31. Satan actively seeks to hurt believers because you already have the mark as a sworn enemy of the devil. You must be thinking of right standing with God everyday. 

Remember that God cannot behold sin and impurity so the only way we can keep enjoying the backing of God is to keep living in sanctification. 

God never holds our past against us if we truly repent, 1 Kings 21:25-29. Genuine repentance can make God to have mercy on one.

When a person embraces Christ, old things weaken and the new life is strengthened 

When we live a life in righteousness, it draws others to Christ. 

Benefits of sanctification

It empowers believers for supernatural breakthrough. When the believer walks in sanctification, God removes the barriers against our advancement, Acts 14:8-11

It suddenly answers your prayers.

Access to fresh unction, meaning the anointing and empowering presence comes upon a believer, Proverbs 1:23.

You walk in the new grace and power of God.

An unclean life can stop the flow of fresh oil. You need to purge yourself and live a sanctified life before God. You won’t live on yesterday anointing but get fresh anointing.

You secure a crown of righteousness in eternity, 2 Timothy 4:8. This is a reward promised to all faithful believers. Living a life of righteousness is not a joke as you have to overcome daily temptation.

It is an eternal reward that God gives to those that stayed with Him till the end.

Demands of a sanctified life

Crave for the enduement of the power of holiness, Matthew 5:6.

You must expect to live a sanctified life. To fit into the life of heaven, we must start practising it here, Romans 8:13. It is what you desire that God will deliver.

Continue to engage the power of the word for rescue, Hebrews 9:14.

Use the blood of Jesus to destroy unholy thoughts in our hearts. The blood of Jesus is a spiritual war tool. 

It is possible to live a righteous life. We must crave and pray for it.

Continue to engage the name of Jesus in battle against sin, Proverbs 18:10; Philippians 2:9,10.

Believers cannot fight sin through will power but through the grace in Jesus Christ.

Altar call

Lord Jesus, thank you for coming to this earth to die for me. Lord Jesus, I am a sinner save me. Let your righteousness fill me. Thank you for saving me.

RP’s Addendum

It is the glory of God that turns a person’s life into what the world wants to behold.

Sin is a product of the mind. Nobody can go into any sin without the act in the heart. Proverbs 4:23, to remain sanctified in this world, you must daily engage the name of Jesus to battle against every wrong thought, Revelation 12:11. It is the rehearsal that leads to an act. Judges 16:16-20; 2 Timothy 2:19, if you don’t depart from iniquity, Christ will depart from you.
