Hopelessness is NOT an Option

Today’s scripture

Hopelessness demobilises and makes you just give up. However, in God’s Kingdom, that is not an option. Even Anna was constantly in the Temple praying everyday, because God had promised Israel a Messiah. Simeon lived old enough to see the sent Messiah before he went to die peacefully after seeing the promise of God manifest in His lifetime.

What does that mean for you? It means that God does not fail. No matter how bleak things look now, they can be fixed. What you need to ask of God is the guidance on the practical things you can do. If it is a spiritual warfare, you need to stand strong on God’s promises and use them to pray to get manifest answers. It worked for Daniel in the land of his captivity in Babylon, why do you think it will not work for you?

If you are a Nigerian reading this, it speaks to your soul searching to find out what you need to do to rescue your nation. Japa may seem like the last option, but ask yourself: Can you really carry with you all the people their harm could cause you pain? It speaks to our finding solution to our problems rather than running away from them. We are the ones to fix our nation, even if it means all of us changing our own ways in our corner, speaking right, praying with the fire it deserves until we chase out the rats making our lives difficult right now.

We CAN do it. We HAVE to do it.

But it starts from your truly confessing Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. That is when you take the power from the enemy and take charge indeed.

May the Lord grant you His mercy and understanding as you take this practical step today.
