Understanding Pathways to Sanctification

Introduction

To get the best of God is to behave like a sheep and follow the pathway that God has provided. 

God does not have any evil plan for any person, Jeremiah 29:11. This is an end that was already decided before your parents met. God ordained-future of the redeemed is glorious and colourful.However, it takes walking in sanctification to arrive there. 

Sin is always the reason many will not attain that glorious future. Nothing sinks destiny like sin. Nothing stings like sin. Nothing makes one to stink like sin. It is nothing but ‘enjoy today and pay tomorrow’. It is like a credit card that makes you to be in debt up to your teeth. This is how sin is: you buy today and mortgage the future.

What is sanctification?

Sanctification is you coming in and being under the control of the Holy Spirit. 

Genesis 25:32; Hebrews 12:16; 1 John 5:3, there is an inbuilt power at redemption 1 Peter 1:15, 16. The choice for sanctification is the choice of the wise. Deuteronomy 30:19; 

Pathways to sanctification

Purpose to live a sanctified life. One of the ways to disarm the devil is by determination, Daniel 1:8; 6:5, 28. You must be fully convinced about who God is. This is the only way to keep focused on remaining sanctified.

We must watch and pray to stay sanctified, Matthew 26:41; 17:19-21. You must watch so that you can do only what is right before the sight of God and always decide right.

We must continue to engage the cleansing power of Jesus, Psalm 119:9-11; John 15:3; Ephesians 5:26.

We must crave for the enduement of the spirit of holiness. Romans 1:4;8:13; Matthew 5:6. It endues us with power

The cost of ungodliness

It blocks access to help in times of trouble. Isaiah 38:1-5; Psalm 33:18

It destroys destiny 2 Kings 5:20-27; t

It blocks access to divine secrets. Daniel 1:8; 2:19;,30, 46; Psalm 25:14. It is divine secrets that make people become outstanding such as Isaac irrigation farming and Jacob’s genetic engineering ideas. Deuteronomy 29:29, God gives us divine secrets as He pleases. Daniel became outstanding in his political realm. Psalm 1:1-3, he organised his companions. Daniel got the secret from God and the king bowed to him. 

Opens the door to sickness and disease, Mark 2:5-11; James 5:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17.

The stronghold of life is domiciled in the mind. To win the battle over sin, your mind is important. Your mind is a gift from God but the devil can take advantage of its emptiness to fill it with evil, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. When we succeed in taking charge of our mind, we can control situations around us. 

Psalm 19:14, we must ensure that our thoughts align with God’s word, Romans 3:4.

Covenant Day of no More Loss

Whatever you have lost, an angelic officer will follow you home today to restore all you have lost. 

The way to overcome losses 

We must be born again. 

It is not enough to be born again, we must be committed to serving God and the interests of His Kingdom, Isaiah 1:19; Job 36:11.

The Holy Communion

Every dead, dying and malfunctioning organ will come to life. Smith Wigglesworth took the Holy Communion daily. And even at his death, he was smiling. No trace of disease could be found in his body.

The communion makes you to age backwards.

Pray the sinner’s prayer:

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Save me and deliver me from the power of sin. I accept you as my Lord and Personal Saviour today. Thank you for saving me.
