Understanding the Power of His Resurrection

John 14:19, He died young so that we can live long.

Sickness and disease should not be mentioned around us anymore.

Matthew 27:50. 

Ignorance is bad but not as bad as false knowledge. If a lie is often repeated, it will soon become as if it is the truth if not challenged. All these lies have remained what kept the Israelis in the dark till date.

The resurrection power is meant to keep the believers’ hope alive. Christianity is not about coming to church; it is a way of life though encountering the power of His resurrection. This thing is not in title but the expression His power. Acts 18:10, without power, you are not a Christian. Handsome men and beautiful women are admired but (wo)men of power are feared, Philipians 3:10. 

Three important things to understand about His resurrection 1 Corinthians 15:17-20

1. The work of our redemption lies in His resurrection. 
2. The future of our faith anchors on His resurrection. 
3. Our ultimate destination called eternity is secured by His resurrection.

Power must be taken into consideration: 

1. Resurrection is the hiding place of God’s exceeding great power, Ephesians 1:18, 19, Colossians 3:20
2. Our covenant access to the power of His resurrection is revelation, Philippians 3:10; Epheaians 1:17, 18; Matthew 27:50, 51. The problem is not the occultic person in your village but your encounter with Jesus. This power is available to everyone. 
3. The first miracle that Christ performed after she rose from the grave. 
4. His death was an eye opening miracle. That is, the taking away of the veil cast on the heart of men; Matthew 27:51, 52; Luke 24:30, 31, 45; 2 Corinthians 3:14-15. When you encounter power, fear will die a natural death.

What is in the power of resurrection?

It eradicates shame and reproach.

It takes captivity captive and sets us free, empowering us to walk in the supernatural.

It quickens our mortal body for health and vitality, 1 Corinthians 15:44, 45; Romans 8:11.

When you truly encounter the power of resurrection, you move from poverty to prosperity, 2 Corinthians 8:9; Revelation 5:10-12, God didn’t make mistakes in the border. Power is before riches. 

The power of resurrection subdues our enemies under our feet, Psalm 66:4; Ephesians 1:17, 18. Where you are challenged the most is when your testimony is loudest; but you need to have the power.

The power of resurrection destroys the power of death and grace arraigned against us. Hebrews 2:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:54-57. Fear of death kills people more than death itself. One main thing that the power of resurrection came to do for us is to overcome the fear of death.

Until you are a child of God, you are not entitled to the inheritance in His house. If you want the power of resurrection, you must give your life to Him. The same applies to those who want to rededicate their lives ro Him. Pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. I am now born again.
