Understanding Demands of Success, Part 2b

Matthew 5:14, You are ordained to be the light of the world and not just your family. Everyone that desire to go down will go down for you.

Success and failure are two parallel lines that can never meet. Your success or failure is determined by your choices. Whichever you end up with is determined by what you do with the word of God. The Bible is the book of good success, Joshua 1:8. No material on earth is as powerful as the word of God.

To achieve outstanding success is not as difficult as we think. God will only help you by instructing you on what to do. It is not a person who will mark you; it is God. The help that you need the most is the divine direction factor. To succeed, you must be ready to align to whatever God says. His direction is usually in the opposite direction to where you want to go. One of the main demands is that you submit yourself to God.

It is not difficult to succeed in Nigeria.

The demand for divine direction

2 Corinthians 6:15-18, God is not only my creator but also my Father through redemption and covenant keeping. God is committed to keeping the covenant with us, if we commit to what He demands of us. Psalm 23:1-6, the duty of the Shepherd is to guide. Until you submit yourself to the shepherd, you are not qualified to succeed. When God leads and we follow, blessings and mercy are allowed to follow us, Psalm 23:1-6. When God is truly your shepherd, you have succeeded without you knowing. The problem is the branching off. Abraham was divinely led at 75 and he succeeded.

Misdirection can be costly, Isaiah 30:1-3; 31:1-3. When God says walk in the way, He has a plan.

How God Leads

When God is the one leading you, He goes before you to clear the path, Isaiah 45:1-3.

When He is the one leading you, He walks with you, Mark 16:20

He works with the led, 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Romans 8:31, God is the mystery being divine direction that makes the going great.

However, you must be born again. Jeremiah 33:3. Never assume.

God leads us through

Genesis 26:1-3; 28:1

Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit still speaks today, John 14:12-14. You need to take advice from the Holy Spirit before you invest in any business or take any step.

God is still in the business of exempting His people, Malachi 3:16. The day of reckoning is always coming, Malachi 3:17,18.

Altar call

You want to give your life to Jesus Christ and reconnect to Him, pray:

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Save me from sin and the power of the devil. I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead for my justification. Thank you for saving me. I promise not to go back again.
