Keys to Success in the New Year

Joshua 1:8

Success becomes our portion when we commit to doing what the word of God says.

Many of us tend to glorify our challenges rather than God. Instead of reporting our challenges to God, we report God to our challenges.

If the word is loaded in your heart, it will come out of your mouth.

So many times, we kill our business with our mouth.

We must be careful what we say as we are either speaking life or death.

What our creator said is what He wanted to see. So, what you say in the midst of the challenges you are facing will determine if you succeed. You are the one that can make your way successful according to Joshua, Numbers 28. God can only do for you what you say. Until you begin to see the positive side of anything, you may not see it.

It has been declared that this is our year of Open Doors but you can use your mouth to close the door by what you say.

Be committed to the word of God; speak the word only.

Never give up, no matter how hard the failure is, get up and keep pressing on. That you fail does not make you a failure. Keep trying after you have failed. Proverbs 12:27, Your falling is not an issue but your not rising up is what is an issue. Whatever challenges you are faced with, always look up with a positive perspective.

There is no successful people in life who have never failed. To succeed in life, make up your mind not to give up, Ruth 1:8. Ruth’s refusal to give up made her a progenitor of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every time you give up, you are telling God you can’t do more than this.

Take calculated risks. Those who don’t take risks will end up working for those who take risks. If you succeed, you are celebrated but if you don’t, you learn and get wisdom about why you failed. If you must succeed, you have to learn to take risks, Esther 4:16, Esther did. You will never know what God has endued you with if you don’t take risk. What God will ask you to do will always be greater than you. You make a mistake and learn from your mistake.

No one ever succeeded when not taking risk.

Failure is not the opposite of success; it is part of success. Failure is success in progress. Every time you fail, wake up, it is part of the process. You can never learn a new skill without trying. If you must succeed, you must see failure as part of life. Nobody remembers the number of time you failed when you succeed. Press to be better than you used to be. Judges 16:28, Samson failed but refused to accept it as being final.

Don’t be afraid to fail. It is one of the greatest teachers. It humbles you.
