Engaging the Wonders of Prayer and Fasting, Part 3c

Prayer and fasting is ordained to activate the wonder working power of God in God’s children. Every child of God is imbued with the power for the supernatural. However, it requires prayer and fasting to activate. The child of God that wants to manifest the power of God must be given to prayer and fasting, Isaiah 40:28-31. In the physical, you may appear faint when fasting but your power level increases in the spiritual realm. It is this power that converts from the spiritual to kinetic power to make things happen. When we are praying and fasting, like the eagle, we are waiting for the direction of the wind of God. Your physical power is limited but when you ride on the wings of God, you soar.

Prayer and fasting is also the key for supernatural open doors. Prayer and fasting is key to the changing of realms in life. 

It is key to supernatural and visionary encounters. You must be continual in your prayer and fasting to see doors open. Prayer and fasting is a vital weapon for deliverance from the power of the enemy. Acts 12:4-11, the chains fell and the door also opened of their own accord. You pray until your desired doors are opened. 

The altar of prayer and fasting is the altar of express answers to prayers. At the altar, we are establishing God’s will on earth, Matthew 6:20. Isaiah 58:6-9. You begin your prayer with thanksgiving and conclude it with thanksgiving; this is the protocol the Lord has established for us in praying, Matthew 6:9-13. 

Thanksgiving is a requirement for taking delivery of answers to prayers, Philippians 4:6,7, every request not backed up with thanksgiving does not get God’s answers. 

Prayer and fasting accelerate the fulfilment of prophecy, 1 Timothy 1:18; Daniel 9:2,3, Daniel went into prayer and fasting when he received the word of prophecy. Without prayers, prophetic word does not come into fulfilment.

Every prophetic scripture is a sworn verdict by God and settled in heaven forever, 2 Peter 1:21; Isaiah 14:24; Matthew 5:18. Every prophetic word is ordained to be fulfilled but we need to engage in prayer and fasting to get the fulfilled. 

This includes your marital settlement prophecy, Isaiah 8:18; Genesis 1:27, for every female, there is a man. There is no way it is written that women are more than men, Psalm 69:6, this includes our marital destiny, Genesis 2:17,18.

Revelation 3:8, the door is already set but your walk will determine if you will enter it. It is in the place of prayers that your strength is renewed to open this door. 

Marital challenges include

Spells of marital delay, no suitors coming, broken engagements, marital unrest incessant separations, divorce threats, etc. Lack of knowledge is usually the cause of becoming victims of such threats. You need to read books.

Love doesn’t sustain marriage; it is wisdom and understanding that sustains marriage.

You don’t prepare for marriage in it. It takes a stupid woman to marry a stupid man. Proverbs 18:22, you are not doing a woman a favour by marrying her.  The level of the understanding you have is what determines if your marriage will be blissful or full of blisters.

It is only Jesus that can make your life to have a difference. Come to Jesus that settles destiny. Jesus is beckoning on you to come.

You have to pray and ask Him to forgive you as you confess your sins before Him. Ask Him to be your Lord and personal Saviour. Thank Him for His mercy and renounce the works of darkness.

You are now born again. Welcome to the family of God!
