Engaging the Power of Prayer and Fasting for Dominion

Introduction

We are in the last days where the church shall be ruling in the midst of her enemies, Psalm 66:3; 110:1

We are in the last days, the days of the manifestation of power in the midst of the people. John 1:12, we are to dominate.  

What things to know about the last days

1. the last days are the days of His power but the power is facilitated through prayer and fasting. You are not in that family to be mocked; it is for you to demonstrate the power of God. 2 Chronicles 20:3, they proclaimed a fast and prayed to God. Luke 18:1,2, don’t only fast, also pray until you see your breakthrough. You are the only one that can pray yourself out of your situation into the realisation of His plan and purpose.
2. The last days are the days of vengeance but only fasting and prayers can facilitate God’s vengeance. We are a solution to the world and not a burden. Isaiah 59:1,2.

Profitable approach to fasting

1. We must come confessing our sins, 1 John 1:9,10. We cannot make God seem like a liar and win. We have all sinned and this must be acknowledged before Him as we fast.
2. Define your goals and objectives. We must be specific. Mark 10:7, don’t run this year like 2025. Have goals and pursue them; God will back you up. 
3. Engage your hearts in seeking the face of the Lord. Pour your heart out to God and not man. Proverbs 16:1-3,.
4. Refuse to be offended in God. Isaiah 58:9

After everything, you can only have access to this Kingdom through confessing, repenting of and forsaking your sins. No one comes to God without washing in the blood of Jesus in order to have access to Him. The invitation is for you to come as you are. However, when you come, wash in the blood and accept Jesus’ vicarious death for you so you can have full repentance. Accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour so you can be justified and accepted into His beloved. Jesus loves you; but you must take action by accepting that love.
