The Kingdom of Heaven is a Kingdom of mysteries, Mark 4:11. Romans 11:33, these secrets are packaged in simple instructions, 1 Corinthians 11:3. Behind simple scriptural instructions are mysteries. Everything is a thanksgiving thing, Ephesians 2:20; John 11:41, it takes understanding to unravel these packages in these mysteries.

Why do we give thanks?
Thanksgiving is what we owe God, both as individuals and as a group, 2 Thessalonians 2:13. Luke 17:17-19, Jesus was looking for everyone of theblepers to return to give their thanks. We all owe thanks continually and we must pay it perpetually. James 1:17, every good gift in our lives can only be attributed to God. This is why all good in our lives must receive thanksgiving to God.
We also owe God thanksgiving to have our blessing preserved, Jeremiah 13:15,16. Our blessings can only be preserved on timely thanksgiving, Malachi 2:2. Psalm 28:5; 2 Timothy 3:1,2, there are many blessings that are lost on the basis of lack of thanksgiving. Numbers 11:31, but they forgot to give thanks to God despite His blessing of provision for them. Psalm 103:1&2; 118:3, our lives are a compendium of wonders, whether we like it or not. Psalm 91:7, we must come to recognise that everything that people marvel about us is as a result of the hand of God on our lives.
God is the source of every increase that we enjoy, whether personal or corporate, 1 Corinthians 4:7; 2 Corinthians 8:9; 1 Chronicles 29:14. Every good thing in our lives is from God. Everything you have is what God gave; it is not our intelligence that brought it. John 6:44, every increase in the church is the hand of God at work, 1 Corinthians 3:6; Acts 2:47; John 3:26,27.
God continues to bring the people. We owe Him continual thanks, Psalm 127:1.

What are the effects of thanksgiving and praise?
It provokes supernatural multiplications, Jeremiah 30:19. John 6:6-12. That which was insufficient became more than enough. Thanksgiving is a multiplier. As it is individually, so it is corporately. Our multiplication we enjoy corporately is due to continuous thanksgiving, Deuteronomy 1:11. The unlimited capacity to multiply is from God.

It provokes divine visitation, Genesis 21:1. Romans 4:20. What is required of us is that we must give God quality thanks. Our gratitude must be heart rooted. We must praise God with precision when we look into the faithfulness of God.

Altar Call
The starting point of any adventure with God is giving your life to God. Otherwise, your praise will be noise to God. Until you are truly identified by God as His own, you cannot claim to belong to Him.
There are also those that need to rededicate their lives to Jesus. Your heart has grown cold and no real connection to Him, you also need to reconnect to Him.
You need to pray the prayer below:
Lift up your right hand and prise: Lord Jesus, I came to you today. I know you died for me on the cross. On the third day, rose again to justify me. I will follow you from today, and never turning back. Thank you for saving me, in Jesus name.
