Zechariah 4:1-6
Life is an adventure that requires divine intervention for a glorious destination. Everything God has said concerning us can only be achieved through the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the constant in the journey to our destiny, John 14:16.
How the Holy Spirit helps the believer fulfil destiny
1. Through delightsome obedience, Deuteronomy 28:1. Blessings from God are a product of obedience from the human. Obedience to God is the evidence of our answer to prayers, John 2:5-9. Obedience to God’s instruction is necessary because God has already prepared a miracle. As we obey, the miracle kicks off immediately. After praying, the next thing to pay attention to is obedience.
Obedience to instruction is the foundation for the miracle we desire.
The Holy Spirit is also the spirit of love, 2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 5:5, He is the indwelling love of God in our heart. One evidence to know the test of our love for God is our love for God. You obey God delightsomely due to your love for God. Our obedience must be delightsome before it can be acceptable to God.
2. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of faith, Matthew 9:29. Your faith is a currency that is trade-able all over the world. An active faith will bring about a productive life.
Your faith must be active to have a productive life.
Hebrews 11:33 showed the testimony of the people of old that did wonderful things because their faith was active. You can be in church and not have faith or have faith and not put it to work.
What is faith?
Faith is a universal force, drawn from the living word of God to produce wonder works.
Types of faith
a. Zero faith, Mark 4:40. These are those among the people that came for healing but they had no faith.
b. Little faith, Matthew 8:26.
There are two types:
There is the word of faith, it proceeds from your mouth.
The spirit of faith proceeds from your heart.
So, what level of faith are you manifesting. The level of faith determines the extent of wonders you operate in.
c. Great faith, Matthew 15:21-28. It takes a great faith to do great things. Miracle takes place when our faith agrees with the spoken word of God. Anytime your faith says yes, God cannot say no.
Covenant Day of Breaking Generational Curse
Understand that curses are real; but they are also reversible, Galatians 3:13,14. Christ had been made a curse for us so that every curse can be reversed. Irrespective of who had placed the curse, any kind of curse standing in any one’s life are broken in Jesus name.
What is a curse?
A curse is an appeal to a supernatural power to inflict evil on someone, people or city, Genesis 9:25,26.
Salvation makes you uncurseable. Salvation is not a scam; salvation is the escape route out of the curses of life, Numbers 22:6. Numbers 23:11-20, anyone God has blessed cannot be cursed. If you are not born again, you are vulnerable to the curses of life. Because you have God, curse is not permitted to continue through you. Exodus 20:5, God abhors idol worship. Anything you exalt above God brings you into a curse.
How to break free from the curse of life
- You must be born again. 1 Corinthians 5:17. Don’t allow curses from your lineage to stop you; except you know God, they will.
- Desire freedom, 1 Chronicles 4:9. Any negative thing that is continual from generation to generation is a curse. You say ‘no’ to it.
- Demand for freedom, Matthew 18:18; Through the prayer altar. Proverbs 30:30, when you stand at the altar of prayers, you become a spiritual lion.
- Engage the ministry of the anointed, Hosea 12:13. The preservation of your destiny is the hand of your prophet. Your future is in the word of God and not in the hands of a false prophet. When you walk according to scriptures, your future is secure. The curse of life does not respect titles; it only respects the anointing.
Understand that curses are real. To ignore them is to make yourself a willing victim, Joshua 6:26; 1 Kings 16:34. It was said years before and it came to pass years later. What happens to you is not nearly as important as what you do about it.
What you don’t address can undress you.
Curses are real and their manifestations can be visible. Some of these are as a result of what the forefathers did. Many Africans started as idol worshippers, which predisposed them to curses, Exodus 20:3.
Salvation does not only guarantee heaven to you but also qualifies you to live a quality life on earth.
