Engaging the Help of the Holy Spirit for a Flourishing Life

All through the scriptures, it is established that human beings need help, 2 Corinthians 3:5; John 15:5.

It has also been shown that no human being can be a true help for the other one, Palam 60:11; Jeremiah 17:5. This is why your focus must depend on the Lord as Helper, Psalm 121:6

The Holy Spirit is the embodiment of this help, John 14:16-18. We have come to the source of the help that is permanently available. He is sufficient for every case we need help for per time. What we see is what we experience. Genesis 13:13, 14. It is the extent of the Holy Spirit we experience that we can see.

The Holy Spirit silences our enemies through vengeance, Isaiah 61:1-3. The scriptures shows that it is at the point of vengeance in verse 2 that things began to turn. This shows that the Holy Ghost is a Spirit of vengeance.

Why is vengeance necessary?

1. It is to rescue God’s people, Exodus 4:22, 23; 3:7-8. Understand that there is nothing that touches you that does not touch God and this triggers His vengeance. Psalm 72:4, God brings vengeance as a result of setting free those held in captivity, Isaiah 61:1. Psalm 65:5.

2. To silence the adversary. More often than not, until vengeance shows up, the enemy doesn’t give up, Isaiah 8:11. Daniel 7:25, the plan of the devil is to make the believers to be weary in these end times. Matthew 24:22; Romans 5:28, God will shorten those days. He does this through invoking vengeance. Psalm 7:9, 13, 14, God is manifesting His nature as God of vengeance.

3. God uses vengeance to enforce the delivery of His purpose, Isaiah 61:2, 3. Romans 14:17. Those things that make people doubt our connectivity to God are destroyed through His vengeance, Isaiah 63:4. Vengeance is there to ensure the enforcement of the programme of God for His children.

Although vengeance is the entitlement of every child of God, we have the responsibility to enforce it, Luke 18:7, 8. If satan is allowed to continue, he would not stop until we invoke vengeance against him to stop. We are at war with him constantly. Anytime you notice a fingerprint of the enemy around you, invoke vengeance. Don’t tolerate him. Acts 13:8-11, refuse to practice tolerance with the devil. The ultimate weapon for vengeance is the Holy Ghost. However, we must deploy Him. We are loaded with colour and beauty by the Holy Ghost, we must refuse to allow the devil to destroy it, Psalm 92:13. As vengeance is implemented, flourishing takes place.

What you don’t want, you don’t watch. What you don’t resist has right to remain.
